THE CACHICHE TOWN
Cachiche, is a word that comes off the expression quechua, AILLPA CACHANI whose translation to Castilian the serious SALTY EARTH, is an attractive turistico of Ica of forced visit.
Cachiche is located to 4 km to the south of Ica, is well-known by its miticas witches who from last centuries were legend very rooted in the popular belief.
In Cachiche is the palm of the seven heads, it is a palm whose trunks adopt quite tetricas and chilling forms, to way of gigantic serpents, and their roots are mixed and confused to raz of the ground.
The inhabitants of Cachiche always cut the seventh head of the palm; this to avoid that Ica is destroyed, according to account a local legend.
