Hello friends, I write from Chile to know more of the Collantes last name, because my father who still lives related a little to me his experiences, according to tells me was born in Vegueta. I do not have much information of my family but soon I will visit those places to know more my past could say to me more of the Collantes last name.

My father moved away of there when he was young and at the moment he lives in Tacna reason why I do not know much of the origin. Only that he had a brother of name Aquiles Collantes Aguirre, to see if algun prime or relative can give tracks me of it.

I thank for the opportunity sincerely to show this warning by your page.

My name is Juan Carlos Collantes Jiménez, born in Tacna, son of Gilberto Collantes Aguirre, born in Vegueta.

My mail is spycat29@hotmail.com. They can add who take my last name to me rather or that we have the last name in common to define some bows of kinship that of some way must exist. Also to create some genealogical tree from the principles of our last name, abundant in those places but little known in the rest of latinoamerica, considering that is original of Catalunya-Spain, in addition it is possible to stand out that it was the last name in the dawn of independence in the identity of Don Toribio Rodriguez de Mendoza Collantes.
