TREPANATION CRANEANA
REGIONAL MUSEUM OF ICA

The craneana trepanation Paracas consisted of capably perforating with obsidian ends a part of the craneano bone, which was later place setting by a gold lamina or another metal.

It has been stated that some trepanados skulls presented/displayed weave regeneration. This would indicate that the taken part individuals survived the operation.
