THE USHNU OF COLORADO INN

According to WIKIPEDIA the Ushnu is:

"piramidal Structure truncates and stepped, formed from the superposition of several rectangular platforms. One is present in the state administrative centers. The access to the top of ushnu was made through a central perron. Its function was to serve like estrado. From its peak, the Inca, or his representative, directed to religious ceremonies and meetings of civico character.

For some students ushnu was additionally a symbol of the Empire Inca, because it is him in annexed territories (Hyslop 1990: 70-72); from there the Inca, or his representative, greeted and received the conquered populations. He also had military intentions, the Inca administered justice from the superior terrace.

Another definition of ushnu = Small stone structure located in the middle of main seats that served as throne for the Incas during certain ceremonies or rites.

In Colorado Inn ushnu encuenta located in the side the west of the central seat, was an altar for oration, sacrifices and ceremonies and I symbolize the power and government of the Incas in the conquered towns of the zone.
