THE RUPAC RUINS - LAS RUINAS DE RUPAC


The ruins of Rúpac belong to the ethnic group of the Atavillos, a Pre culture - Inca of whom knowledge is had occupied an extensive zone of the Limean mountain range.

Despite its antiguedad, great part of the constructions - done totally in stone one stays intact. Including the ceilings of the houses, as well as the projections, of approximately a meter, are worked in stone. Another peculiarity is that the houses count on warehouses of up to three floors, underground stone stairs, quarters and chimneys in the kitchens.

Thanks to our Lilia friend Leon; but well-known like Lily, to provide us the photos and the data of like arriving at the Ruins of Rupac.

According to ours dear friend, those that are in Lima must take the buses which they go towards the Province of Huaral, from which are several. Once we have arrived at Huaral we must take a taxi so that it takes us to the whereabouts of cars that go towards the town of the Per it.

The displacement in car between Huaral and the town of the Per it us permitira to appreciate beautiful landscapes of the valley of rio Añasmayo; which is net agricola, this section efectua in a pair of hours approximately.

The long walk to the ruins of Rupac lasts approximately 4 hours; every time they are of ascent and is necessary to do it in slow form, so that; those that they do not estan in good fisico state can arrive, he is by which is recommendable to spend the night in the Per it, with the purpose in the morning of undertaking the march to first hours of the following day.

Ours first work in the morning is to obtain mobility so that it transfers to us until the beginning of the ascent route towards Rupac; taxi drivers who by a modico price would haran this service to them, with which exist the long walk previously lasts the considered time, to do it from the same town of the demandaria Per it us but a long time.

And if they even have left leg for the following day, they can prepar a long walk to the Ruins of Racsa, which like previous hard approximately the 2 hours and average and of which has offered to us to provide the photos to us.

A STROLL BY RUPAC

In order to begin they must arrive at Huaral, can take anyone from the lines that go for alla. From the market of Huaral they leave combis that goes for the town of Florida (2900 msnm approx). The town of Florida, accounts with Hotel, restaurants and I telephone. Aqui can be contracted to donkeys and/or horses to go to Rupac.

In Florida the long walk begins towards the Pampas town (3100 msnm), this long walk takes you approximately between one to two hours.

Pampas are a very simpatico town, has a common sewer; leaving Pampas, to about 15 minutes of way towards Rupac this I complete point where you can take water, asi that there is to supply with enough water (minimo 6 liters; in order to raise and to lower to the following day).

Of Pampas to Rupac it has between 3 and 4 hours of way, always in ascent and under an African sun, to say to the minus!!!!.

He is recommendable to always wear to hat or cap to protect itself of erisipela. Something of blocking serious good.

In the end seras compensated with the ruins in better state of conservation in the Department of Lima, Rupac this a (3600 msnm).

They do not arrepentiran!!!!!!.
