Accidental circumstances and fortuitous, but impregnated of futurist vision, determined the last century by the end of, the birth of a new city, in lands of Moyopampa Property, where yergue mighty and today vigorous "Villa of the Sun"

Thus New Chosica is born the 13 of October of 1864, developed by a "Urbanizing Society Chosica" that buys six potreros with an extension of 353,534m2 of I found of Moyopampa, destined to the foundation of a town that would adopt own and modern characters in its urbanization.

After two years of to have founded the new city, the Congress of the Republic gives to a new law elevating to capital of the district of Lurigancho to New Chosica, thus obtaining its political recognition by promulgated law the 9 of November of 1896 sealed by the President Don Nicholas de Piérola.

Unique Art.. - Extiéndase the district of Lurigancho, of the province of Lima, by the right margin of the Rímac river, until the limits of the property of Moyopampa, with the province of Huarochirí, being transferred the capital from the district to the population that rises in Moyopampa, with the name of New Chosica "
