CORONGO: HISTORY Of The CAL BRIDGE And SONG

From you cold punas of Tuctubamba, lower waters of the Rio Corongo, which crosses the city, dividing it in two. This rio runs under a bridge of lime and song of two arcs.

The bridge unites three main districts of the town of Corongo: Chopimarca with Cayarina and Malambo. Being the unico bridge, many people to cut way happen through rio, jumping of stone stone, under the risk of slipping and of falling to waters of the river, finishing to get wet worn and trousers, for diversion of the passers-by.

This work is pride of the coronguino town, I am materialized in the "republic", like a resurrection of the collective works of the incaica time. Fatally the name has forgotten the artifices of the work, which is superb.

Segun counts the old stories but of this town, for their construction the ladies the unmarried ones donated cantaros of chicha, the widows, eggs for the mixture with the lime, the town; the force. The stones worked for the work, lead them from the preincaicas ruins of Coronguimarca and Clari'n Irca.

In an inlaid rectangular stone in the South side, the following thing is ***reflxed mng: "day 8 of May of 1860 this work was begun and concluded the 27 of October of 1861".

From the bridge a good vision of the whiteness of the summit of the snow-covered Champará is had, that dazzles in a blue bottom of the sky.
