THE PACHACAMILLA CHRIST
The cult to the image of the Gentleman of the Miracles, patrono of Lima, goes back to century XVII. In that epoca, the Spaniards located to Indians and black in an adjacent district to the old temple preInca of Pachacamac, known like Pachacamilla. The Brotherhood of the Gentleman of the Miracles, groups at the present time to but of 3.500 members divided in groups, each one of the groups counts on 120 devotee ones; ademas of 02 groups of singers and sahumadoras.
TEMPLE OF THE NAZARENAS
With time to a convent and a church were constructed, where the original wall keeps, under the care of the nazarenas mothers. Since then, every year, one it talks back of the Gentleman of the Miracles is removed in procession in the dates 18, 19 and 28 of October, in the middle of a crowd of devotee that conform the great and numerous procession but of all America.
The procession of the Gentleman of the Miracles is multitudinal and every year congregates to thousand of devotee ones of all pais and the foreigner.
The procession of the Gentleman of the Miracles is also an opportunity to enjoy Limean fried tipicas viandas, as they are picarones (doughnuts with honey), the stuffed Popes (mass of Pope with stuffed of meat, of ovoidal form), cachangas (hojarascas of common flour, with honey) and nor to speak of traditional turron of Doña Pepa. Its ambulatory sale is infaltable during the procession.
